NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL, HANUMANGARH JN. is a prestigious institution of Hanumangarh. It is the first English Medium Institution of Hanumangah District. JAN KALAYAN SAMITI had taken  keen interest to open such an institution, so all the credit goes to its members. It was established to provide education to Central and State Government employees' children as well as the children of R.C.P. Colony area. On August 24, 1981 the foundation stone was laid by Mr. M.D. Kaurani (I.A.S.) District Collector of Sri Ganganagar.

The patron-in-chief is the Collector of Hanumangarh and the chairman is the S.D.M. of Hanumangarh . Rest of the members are respectable, learned and intellectuals according to the norms of C.B.S.E. Delhi. The school has a highly qualified teaching staff. All are trained graduates and post graduates with a sense of dedication towards duties. Selection is always made on the grounds of merit through interview.
